I Sure Missed Her
Katylynn has changed so much in the past 2 weeks. As my previous post mentioned, she is crawling. She is crawling EVERYWHERE! She also has a tooth coming in, but I'm pretty sure I already said that. She is more squirmy than ever! But I love every minute of her.

Youth trips are much more of a sacrifice when you are a parent than before. It's one thing to leave your spouse for a week or two, but it is so much harder to leave your child, especially a baby. It does get easier to leave them as they get older, just more difficult to find childcare for older and multiple children. Anyway, I think these trips are beneficial to parents spiritually, but since they are also very difficult, we pick and choose our youth trips very carefully. In order to sacrifice that much time from our kids, the trip has to be something that God has given us an undeniable passion for. When the passion is there, it is worth the sacrifice.
