She makes me smile all day. She makes me laugh a lot. She makes me happy. When she goes to sleep, I miss her. I miss her when she is in the nursery or if Daddy & Daughter are having some time together.
I never thought I would love someone so special so much. As I write this, my eyes are full of tears. I cannot believe that God has given me this precious little girl to raise, to love, and to teach her all about him.
Tonight when Derry was praying for the students, I prayed in Katylynn's ear for her. It was at that moment when I realized the importance of praying for your children and they hear it. I pray for Katylynn often, but does she hear it? How will she know she is prayed for unless she hears it. I love hearing people pray for me. I'm often brought to tears knowing someone cares enough for me to pray for me. So tonight, I decided not only to pray for Katylynn on my own, but in her presence out loud.

Thanks God. I promise I will never take her for granted!

very cool....I try to pray for my kids in front of them, also...and my folks did that for me. very affirming...and God will continue to use your story of Katylynn to reach and touch others with His love.
