First Bike Ride with Kellie

Friday I went biking with Mommy and Kellie. I had fun. It was a little tired, but I had fun. This is the helmet Kellie gave my mom for me when she first found out that I was coming. It is a bit big for me, maybe it'll fit next year. But it is pink with flowers. . . YAY!

My Heart Melts

My Dad is a wonderful Grandfather. He loves and plays with all of his grandchildren. They all love being around him.

Yesterday during service Dad was holding Katylynn during the music and she was bouncing away. It was during that time when when he was smiling and singing the song to her. She just kept bouncing and smiling.

My heart melted because Dad doesn't sing much. It was so cool that he sang to Katylynn and she loved it.

Thanks Dad, you are a GREAT Papa!

HAPPY Mother's Day

This was truly a HAPPY Mother's Day. For the past 6 years Mother's Day was always difficult. Although I was happy for other mothers, my heart ached.

Last year had to be the toughest. My heart was never as heavy as it was last year. During the baby dedication at church, it took everything within me not to break down and loose it. I was genuinely happy, but hurting because I couldn't understand why I wasn't a mother yet.

I remember sitting in service almost in tears when I heard God say, "Don't worry, next year will be different. Hang in there." I believed Him, but told myself that if I do not have a baby by Mother's Day, I will not be going to service because it is just too painful.

Well, God was right. Things are different. We have Katylynn and Mother's Day was awesome! Thanks God!

I'm Six Months Old Today

Yep, six months ago I was born. Hard to believe I'm as big as I am. Mom says that the clothes I am wearing now she thought I would never fit into. Well, I still dont fit into them fully, they're a bit loose yet.

Life as a six month old is great. I roll EVERYWHERE, I put whatever is close to me in my mouth, and I love to stand and jump. I even like it when mom or dad throw me in the air.

I'm on solid foods now. I didn't like the regular rice cereal, but mixed with bananas...YUMMY!

I love my dog, we're pals. He lets me "pet" him and lay on him. He's a pretty cool dog!

Well life is good. Hope all is well with you.
